Student bar, that's okay for that
Staff seemed overwhelmed, 2 people for a full store. The coffee was really bad. The berry bowl was okay. Everything took a long time. We have ordered cake that is already cut in the display. 20 minutes later the cake wasn't there, so we paid and left.
The waitress (who worked on 09/24/2020 at 4:30 p.m.) was very unfriendly. I ordered a kombucha, unfortunately she gave me one without a glass and took 20 minutes, the meal of course took longer. the menu is filthy and difficult to read. You feel uncomfortable there. The store doesn't work. It's a shame because the idea is very good.
Price / performance ratio is great, dishes are great. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff, great service, currently still a construction site next door but that takes away the whole flair;) As a non-vegan / vegetarian, I was curious if I liked it, but the burger was really extremely tasty! How the dishes are prepared you can tell that a lot of love is put into it! ? I really recommend it to everyone to go out for a meal here or try the delicious homemade lemonade. Don't worry about non-vegans! It's worth it?
I ate here with friends. Great and delicious food. For my next stop in Mainz, I have to come back there for sure! I highly recommend it :)
Delicious food but unfriendly condition (no hello, no bye) & we didn't get a menu. There was also no thank you for putting our dishes in the end. Unfortunately, the atmosphere outside is not really appetizing right next to the garbage cans. Here you could have set up a privacy screen, so that the whole thing looks a little more cozy.
Fantastic vegan breakfast, coffee and tea. Nice decor and pleasant staff.
Delicious. Cosy and calm place
The unhappy customer comes first here! We went to have breakfast in the Möhren Milieu this morning, after breakfast didn't work out here two weeks ago. Before that, we called specially and asked if a reservation was necessary, which supposedly wasn't possible. A reservation is generally not possible here. When we arrived there around 11:30 a.m. we waited about 20 minutes in front of the restaurant, which the staff on site was not interested in. So we quickly took the reins ourselves and registered at the counter. When a table became vacant outside and we asked if we could sit there, one of the waitresses thought for a moment and said in a harsh tone that it was already reserved. When we asked that a reservation was actually not possible, she replied that this table was reserved two weeks ago from 12 noon. Fortunately, at the same time, another 6 person table became available in the restaurant, to which she finally gave us reluctance. When we wanted to order breakfast at 11:50 a.m. they said there was no more breakfast to which we replied that the website said until 12:30 p.m. Even at 11:50 a.m. it is cheeky to refuse, just because the waitress is tired of it. But we were graciously granted breakfast. When around 12 o'clock a father with his family and a small child came into the restaurant and was turned away due to "lack of space", I suggested he go to our table for 6 (which we never wanted to sit at) and we each other put out for it. PS: around 12:30 pm there was still no one at the apparently "reserve" table for so long. I have the feeling that nothing wants to be sold here. Customer friendliness is very important in the Möhren Milieu. It is conveyed to you that you are undesirable. Simply underground.
Great, healthy and incredibly delicious vegan food. Employees are sometimes rather unfriendly. Still my favorite vegan shop in Mainz ?
Relatively long waiting time in front of the restaurant (12 minutes) to place the order. Very rude service. No greeting and very unfriendly behavior of a service. After her colleague had offered to change the table, the drinks were thundered onto the table with audibly annoyed moans. The lemonade glasses are served with a silver lid. This is heavily worn on the inside and rusty in some places. Leftovers could be seen on the kitchen floor. Probably kitchen garbage, but still looked rather unhygienic.
Was to test the breakfast offer. A trendy place for vegetarians and vegans. We sat outside. I didn't like it that much and breakfast for € 9 seemed expensive.
I think the selection is dense and everything tasted absolutely fine, what I got in front of me. From my point of view, a meeting in the restaurant is highly recommended. The seating is extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the tables is very good justifiable. There you absolutely don't get the feeling of dining like sardines in a can in the evening. Here you get both: sympathetic and brisk waiters.
We were there with 6 people for brunch. You have to be patient; However, the service and interior are authentic. We had two small brunch platters and one "hearty" breakfast. Everything nicely arranged. As a non-vegan, the taste is missing here and there, but ok to try it out.
We were here on a hot, sunny Thursday afternoon to "easily" satisfy our hunger. On the pictures you can see the red vegetable curry, with whole grain rice, coconut milk, side salad and a good but mild portion of spiciness for 8, - €. Definitely a recommendation, filling, inexpensive and not too heavy. The second picture shows the kidney bean patty burger with tomato, lettuce, vegan cheese, fried onions, wedges, avocado cream and watermelon. A pleasure! For € 12.50 a delicious portion, filling, fresh and with a good price-performance ratio! The staff is nice and accommodating too. There are also cold and warm drinks to go with it. A top recommendation from me.
I think the idea and the setting of this restaurant are really great, I was really looking forward to visiting there. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We stood in front of the counter for an eternity and were ignored, when we got a table, it hadn't even been roughly cleaned. A menu or something similar was not brought to us, which is why we then left, unfortunately without trying the food.
The food was delicious. But after a quarter of an hour we had to ask for tickets, an hour after arrival breakfast came and the cafe was not full. There was an unwashed spoon for coffee and we had to ask repeatedly to pay. Unfortunately, it ruined everything a bit.
The breakfast is delicious and can recommend it to everyone! Unfortunately, I have to subtract two stars because it is really difficult to get a seat / table. I've been there a few times and had to go again.
Small card that still has something for every taste. However, the spinach waffles are highly recommended. An espresso afterwards should not be missed either. The service is courteous too!
Food is amazing. But would like that they synced working time with Google especially for holidays, so you know exactly when they work.
Cute little vegan restaurant, wanted to have the burger but they were out, so had the red curry instead, but it was more green than red. Huge portion though!
Nice food but sadly staff is not really aware of it's costumers ... Or maybe their just shy. But they let they costumers wait outside instead of just cleaning up the table to give them a place to sit.
Had an interesting Spirulina-Ginger Latte. Nice outdoor area, kind service
Nice shop that fits to theme. Staff is also very friendly. Food is good but a matter of taste here and there. But the burgers are good for everyone and really good. The smoothies were delicious too.
Wonderful, vegan food can be so tasty and delicious! I recommend the Buddha Bowl, never had such a good one. It was also served super fast. The ambience is cosy and "alternative".
Monday evening, 7pm. No waitress showing up for 15 minutes after we had a seat, so we finally left... Honestly, very disappointed
Older! I have never had such a good vegan burger (Beyond Meat Patty Btw) but everything else has been delicious. The quesadillas were amazing "cheesy" the hearty breakfast and the sweet breakfast in the morning were just delicious, the spreads to no taste. If you want to eat vegan in Mainz you must pay a visit here. Nice service, delicious food, homely cozy atmosphere.
Amazing food, super friendly staff. Had a vegan bowl with avocado highly recommended. Cozy place
Tasteless food
Place gets packed very quick, but when you do get lucky to get a table, the food is awesome. :)
Great salads, very nice place. It is cheap and cozy
Best place ever
Great little vegan cafein Mainz! Nice little outdoor cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.
Beste Buddha Bowl EVER. OMG.
When I arrived, I got in and a guy that was sitting at a table said: " you can sit anywhere ". I decided to sit on the terrasse since it was a nice evening. The same guy brought me a menu and told me there are only german menus. He didn't ask if I wanted a beverage. About 10 minutes later (which sounded like a very long time) he came back to ask what I wanted to eat. He didn't offer any water, even when he brought the food. My buddha bowl was ok....10 € Very laid back and not so friendly service. I prefer and really recommend "Salute", a vegetarian restaurant, 5 minutes away from there. Day and night! Much better food and service.
A pleasant little cafe/restaurant we stopped off at for late lunch. We ordered two different dishes but got the same ingredients with a slight difference, mine being the burrito, unwrapped for some reason? Anyway the food was tasty, quite basic(which I like), healthy and didn't leave us feeling heavy or too full, it was the perfect portion size. It wasn't too expensive and nice to know there's a vegan restaurant close to home. The staff were also very jolly and kind.
Always a delight to have lunch here. The hipster chic has definitely made it to Mainz and is there to stay.
Great food! Friendly staff.
As always, the food was delicious. It wasn't that crowdy last time I went there. You have to order at cash counter, but they bring the food upto your table. People are friendly. Interior design is impressive, they wanted the old wood vintage look. It was quite good but there was also dirt. Toilet didn't look so clean.
The service staff were very friendly and the Buddha bowl and carrot cake were very good.
We arrived and the place was full. We saw a table that looked like they left. We waited a little and saw no one came back. And the waitress seemed busy so we moved everything and sat down. See brought new napkins and utensils. Picked up the rest of the thing's and keeped moving. Never cleaned the table. We waited for her to take our order... at one point i turned to look at her because we were ready. And she said we had to come to the counter. She should have just said. The food was AMAZING!!!!! I got pancakes and wow i was so surprised and happy about my choice. I think the owner was there.. he seemed very sweet. If it was him. I loved everything about this place.. i would take half a star of if i could but i cant lol. Since there wasnt really an issue just what i say up above.
Nice place with lots of vegetarian/ vegan options. It's quite popular, so don't be surprised when you need to wait for a place
Here the non-vegan is shown that there is another way. Delicious!
Very funny place. Not an amazing coffe, but rest is very tasty and amazingly good looking food... :)
Unusual place in a residential area. It's a non -meat snack place with very good smoothies and mediocre latte. Air tends to be heavy from the kitchen activity, they need serious ventilation. Tables are well designed. For good coffee and cake there's way better in town. The food is obviously a matter of preferences.
One of the best places in the rhein-main area to eat vegan food!
Very tasty and nice atmosphere
Super! I'm not a veggie fan but the lunch was so so good!
Brilliant food
